Asus 1005HAB Eee PC Review
This article was written based on the purchase of an Asus Eee PC Netbook 1005HAB. This is my first netbook, and I quite love it. It is extremely powerful in my opinion, good deals and excellent facilities. Netbooks have been a while now and have been widely discussed all over the internet. Some netbooks come with Linux as the operating system, but about 90% with either Windows XP or Windows Vista as their main operating system. They have a program for this reviewcame with Windows XP and Windows 7, I am actually given to them as soon as they become available.
I like things that are on the Asus netbook, the weight and the screen / display. My last laptop I bought about 3.5 years old and I'm amazed how has the display technology developed at this time. The Asus Netbook is equipped with a fixed resolution display and content can be displayed on the screen to be seen from anywhere in the room. During his travels, I have the built-in SD –Card of the Asus upload my pictures from the camera. I then work with Google's Picasa for my pictures and I was partially blown away how great the images looked like on the small screen. The Asus Netbook had plenty of horsepower to change the images, colors, rotation is correct, and without freezing or slowing down.
However, the one thing I am impressed not so, the battery life of this netbook. I do not know if it's Windows XP or the Wi-Fi Connection, but it seems like the factory battery is only good for maybe 2-3 hours. The battery power of Windows XP shows make big jumps down and that's what happened really fast. The netbook has a different energy settings to adjust that you went to the settings when working on battery, but also with the battery-efficient set of power after about 3 hours or so. In fact, although the brightness of the display dims itself when running on battery power, the Asus> Netbook still uses a lot of energy that the battery drains go. So, my conclusion that for this problem, you have to handle the purchase of a replacement battery. The 1005HAB is the "Best Buy" version of the popular netbook with some minor downgrades the real 1005HA compared. You can either use the battery from another Asus 1005HA or replace the existing with an official replacement battery for longer battery power.
Conclusion: Very netbook with a lotPS so to speak. I love the light weight and what can I do with this 1005HAB Asus netbook. I am a little disappointed about the battery life, however. Would I buy it again if I choose? Yes, I want to get rid of this netbook computer.
